Hey, I never claimed I was sane... and neither are my workmates, it seems. This oddity was a logo for our spoof movie company for a rather silly holiday project at work. A llama to the first person who guesses what movie we were spoofing! (Well, if I haven't already llamified you, that is.)

In any case, I quite enjoyed designing a gorilla whale merman thing. I also realized this was the first time I'd tried to draw a gorilla!

And just for the sake of spreading the silliness, I also made the lineart available for anyone who wants to color it:

Well to me the pose looks like that of King Kong but if I had to guess the movie would guess it to be Godzilla, as Gojira the Japanese equivalent to the American name was a combination of the words Gorilla and Whale, how very quaint, and thank you Snapple fact caps lol. I like the chimera look of a species cross such as this well done.
